Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for assisting the Service Manager in managing the production workflow to ensure that profitability, productivity and customer goals are achieved
• Assist in diagnosis, troubleshoot and problem solving
• Recruit, train, motivate, develop and retain qualified employees
• Ensures technicians are working at high levels, delivering quality service while maintaining customer satisfaction and managing the team of technicians while maintaining efficient workflow for technicians
• Review technicians’ work for accuracy and completeness
• Ensure all equipment is maintained and safe and provide a clean & safe work environment
• Ability to manage and dispatch service work as well as monitors and reviews work schedules
• Maximizes installation sales, installation fees and service fees through ensuring quality, timely product installations and repairs
• Identifying Warranty issues
• Report concerns with Service Manager as required
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Must be organized, self-motivated and a team player
• Possess verbal communication skills
• Have the ability to deal with large volumes of work and be flexible to changing priorities

Woody's RV Grande Prairie is hiring full-time Journeyman or Apprentice RV Technician. 

Are you an experienced RV Technician or mechanically inclined individual looking for a rewarding career in the RV industry? Woody’s RV World Grande Prairie is growing and looking to add a skilled, motivated, and customer-focused RV Technician to our team!

What You'll Do:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain all types of RV systems — including plumbing, electrical, propane, appliances, and structural components.
• Perform pre-delivery inspections and ensure top-quality workmanship.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical and technical issues.
• Collaborate with service advisors and other technicians to ensure timely repairs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous RV or related mechanical experience (automotive, marine, or construction trades welcome).
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• A positive attitude, attention to detail, and pride in workmanship.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Journeyman certification or willingness to train and certify (we’ll help with that!).
