As Woody's DIRECTOR OF SALES you will be responsible for managing Woody’s Sales Departments in all locations working closely with the Sales staff and valued partners to achieve a successful, dynamic and growing Sales unit. As a leader, you will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and be accountable for developing and executing sales strategies that contribute to the maximization of profitability and customer experience

To be successful in this role, you must be able to demonstrate your strategic selling ability through a proven track record of successfully setting/exceeding goals.

  • Top producer with proven results.
  • Strong management expertise, focusing on inventory, profit, employee, and customer relationships
  • An effective communicator, able to coordinate and work with the sales managers.
  • Oversee the inventory ordering process in coordination with the sales managers. Ensure appropriate inventory stocking levels.
  • Effectively work with other department leaders to successfully develop and execute operations and strategies.
  • Solid sales background demonstrated through relevant education and experience. Must be able to ensure sales volume and market share targets are maximized for profitability.
  • Strong analytical, technical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to address and resolve production/customer issues on an ongoing basis.
  • Practical application of information technology including Microsoft Office software, PC hardware and network knowledge. Experience with IDS software would be considered an asset.
  • Maintain and strengthen manufacturer and vendor relationships.
  • Establish departmental objectives with monthly progress reporting.
  • Travel between locations will be require
