October Events in Alberta

Posted by | Local Events

October is the month for all things spooky and creepy. While there’s always stuff going on in Alberta, October is the only month for these ghastly events! And an RV from Woody’s RV World is the most comfortable way to get anywhere you plan to go this month.

Flashlight Cemetery Tour

Discover the scandals, disasters, trials, and triumphs of Lethbridge’s earliest citizens at the oldest cemetery: St. Patrick’s Cemetery. This tour is perfect for those who love the supernatural and for those just interested in folklore and history. Bring a flashlight and dress warmly. The tour is set for October 7 from 7-8pm.

Head to St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Meet at the west end of 6 Ave N, Lethbridge, Alberta. Tickets are available at the Galt Museum Store.

Train of Terror Excursion

The ultimate haunted house experience… on board a train! Embark on the Train of Terror, if you dare! Experience haunted railway cars, disturbing entertainment, and fear-inducing happenings aboard the Train of Terror. If you survive the travails, there’s a Halloween party waiting on the other end with food and drinks.

It costs $69.99 per adult and the trip lasts 2.5 hours. The location is Aspen Crossing, Mossleigh, Alberta. You may ride the train daily starting October 8 and lasting until October 30.
