Alberta shines a little brighter in summertime, and the kids heading back to school doesn’t mean your summer needs to end too. August is one of the warmest and most exciting months in the province, and the following three outdoor events are ones you won’t want to miss.
Cariwest Caribbean Arts Festival — Edmonton

Calgary Reggae Festival — Calgary
Experience the island vibes again at the annual Calgary Reggae Festival, held on Aug. 18, 19 and 20. Also known as Calgary ReggaeFest, the event is guaranteed to introduce you to new music, new crafts, new foods and plenty of fun.
